Hi Everyone,

Hope everyone is safe and well.

It remains impossible to hold our traditional presentation night, which is likely to be the case for the next several months. Therefore we have decided to hold a virtual presentation.

Over the next seven days the Club will be posting our major award winners on Instagram and Facebook. Next Friday, we will be making a soft copy of the Annual Report available to everyone. So please keep an eye out for these announcements and the Annual Report.

At the time of writing the Annual Report, we believe that the Club has again won the SSJCA Club Champions Award for the third consecutive year and the fourth time in five years, although this has not been formally confirmed at this stage. In any event, our Club has again performed fantastically across all age groups and grades. I would like to formally congratulate all players, parents, coaches, managers and committee members on this outstanding achievement. In particular, our Club has without doubt the best coaches in Sutherland Junior cricket, without whom this award would not have been possible. Well done everyone.

Looking ahead, we are hopeful cricket will resume around October, a little later this year given COVID-19. We will be in touch as soon as we have more clarity. We also intend running the Academy for our most talented under 10s and under 12s pre-season, and also kicking off the season with a much needed (but compliant) social function.
